The head honcho behind the popular experimental bass music record label; Wakaan, has recently put out a new EP that is sure to suck in bass aliens from all over the cosmos with his wonky beats and gnarly sound production. None other than Liquid Stranger has come out swinging again with a beautiful 4 song EP that embodies his diverse ‘inter-galactic’ sounds. This mad man has been putting out some of the drippiest, low end bass music over the past decade and on his new EP, ‘Dimensions‘ he definitely caters to space bass and you can feel it in this one. The first two tracks are named in tune with the space theme and on ‘Extraterrestrial’ the lyrics highlight UFO’s and alien life. The vocals in it is the iconic style from Liquid Stranger with hypnotizing vocals that blend into soothing bass music. The third track, ‘Misfits’ is in collaboration with a producer, Sully, who has been continually on the rise with dank releases and some heavy bass. Of course with a massive collaboration like that, the song is nothing but nasty beats and heavy wonky bass that is sure to rattle venues across the nation on his current tour. He ends his Ep with ‘Green Light’ that features Yana Mahal with a hip-hop style of vocals and groovy bass melody that showcases his more ‘lighter’ side of music production.
