Gem & Jam festival is coming back to the heart of Tucson at the Pima County Fairgrounds for another year of the best music mash up between jam and EDM! Topped with some of the most precious gems and minerals that can be found amongst the many vendors at the festival (and all across town during the worlds biggest gem show,) Gem & Jam has the optimal setting for a festival of this caliber. This festival is not only promoting music and gems, but it is a transformational festival that offers yoga and workshops that help educate and see other perspectives. 
Now with their home being settled in at the fairgrounds Gem and Jam is straight up bringing the heat with a spectacular ’23 lineup! Happening February 3rd to the 5th of 2023, it is the first major camping festival in the United States of the calendar year and because so they have to break grounds with bringing in big names while still sticking to their unique vibe of the festival. And they did just that this year with booking some of the best names in our scene today. Starting with the headliner and main act, The String Cheese Incident, who not only has two sets, but hasn’t performed in the desert state of Arizona in over 10 years! Some of the other headliners going are; The Floozies, LSDream, and Emancipator. All of which are entirely different style of music than each other but all over a ‘relaxing’ vibe that will set off the stages of Gem & Jam. 
Some big electronic music names that we are excited that they booked for the ’23 lineup are; Justin Martin, Ott., SoDown (with a return performance to Gem & Jam,) The Funk Hunters, Haywyre, Eazybaked, Ravenscoon, Sully, Jon Casey, Thought Process, and many more! While on the live / jam side, they got outstanding acts like, The Motet, Dirtwire, Aqueous, and many more!

Nested far south in Arizona, Gem & Jam has pretty warm weather during the day, but even though it is a desert, it still gets very cold at night! Thankfully, the late night hours stage is inside of a building, so when the late hours come, you can stay warm inside up until you have to treck back to your campsite! The grounds are gorgeous with Palm trees and views of the desert mountains surrounding. Make sure to bring shade for your campsite but also warm clothes and blankets!
