Groove Cruise is quickly approaching their 30th voyage from San Diego to the magical San Cabo. From October 10th to the 14th, Groove Cruisers will be experiencing a bonkers and sold-out boat party! It’s not a normal boat though, it’s a massive cruise liner from the Norwegian Cruise Line, which has made its first appearance on the west coast of the States for the first time! Having this special occasion match up with Norwegian’s first experiences on the Pacific adds up for a completely buck wild time! Full of nothing but the best of vibes, dank music, sexy bodies, epic music, and fantastic drinks, we just know that this Groove Cruise is going to be an absolutely beautiful experience full of some of our favorite artists who will be along for the journey on the boat with us! That factor alone makes this one of the most exhilarating experiences a hardcore music fan can ask for! 8. Benny Benassi
One of the classic names in our scene. If it wasn’t for one of the legends of house music, our scene definitely would not be where it is today. Benny Benassi, an Italian DJ, and producer who has put out some of the biggest rockers in dance history, from Satisfaction to Cinema, Who’s your Daddy and more, Benny is one of the most iconic names in the scene. Thankfully, he will be joining us for the 30th voyage of Groove Cruise. I can’t really place my finger on what to expect because frankly, Benny Benassi has been on top of his production lately and has been keeping up to times while still incorporating his old school sounds.
7. Green Velvet
Another legend in our scene, but with the sounds of underground tech house. None other than, Green Velvet of course! Coming from the warehouse rave scene in Detroit, Green Velvet has influenced the American dance scene since the early 90’s (before I was even born!) Over the course of his magnificent years, he has started up a record label, done countless b2b’s with other legends in the dance scene and put out songs that shook the dance floor and impacted ravers for the rest of our lives. Get some Relief and make sure to catch
one of the most anticipated sets as Green Velvet is sure to get f*cking weird with it and have one hell of a goofy energy on stage.
6. Two Friends
Have you ever had a friend you wanted to ‘conquer the world’ with, but with peace, love, unity, and respect? Show off your talent while having the time of your life? Well, that is what these two producers are doing, Two Friends, who are two friends from the early days in middle school. Their friendship still thrives strong and during high-school, they took their energy in education and aimed it to the production and took off. Their remixes have filled hearts of joy and bliss. Two Friends has a Future Bass / Future Deep kind of sound and with not a lot of artists on board who dabble with this kind of sound, we can not wait to get our taste of fresh beats and bass while still getting a tear-jerking performance.
5. Shiba San
One of the artists that is always a crowd favorite is Shiba San, the goofy and ridiculously brilliant French producer who puts together some of the wonkiest and grooviest house beats. He has been all over the country doing mesmerizing performances but one of our more memorable moments from Groove Cruise last year was when Shiba San was the first performance to hear as we pulled away from the bay. Truly an epic moment that was packed with fantastic music and is one of the many reasons to why Shiba San is a must!
4. Cazztek
A major up and coming artist in the bass house scene is hitting Groove Cruise for his VERY first time and that would be Cazztek We couldn’t be more excited for this gnarly producer who has been absolutely dropping fire tracks left, right, and dead center. He has multiple releases across several different major Record Labels such as; Spinnin’ Records, Confession, Pinnacle Recordings, and more! Fans of Tchami, Malaa, Habstrakt, Maximono, and artists such as those, you’ll be in heaven during this set!
3. Cosmic Gate
We will be getting graced by trance legends on board for some of the most intimate experiences that we can get with the renowned duo, Cosmic Gate. Groove Cruise is the prime location for the ultimate feels and sometimes (a lot of times) that calls out for trance. Cosmic Gate will be the set to see for all of your trance needs, from being formed in 1999 and having multiple massive club bangers with beats that changed the trance movement forever. Songs such as; Exploration of Space, Firewire, Be Your Sound, and more!
2. Duke Dumont
Who doesn’t love beach parties? Not only that though, but a beach party hosted by one of the biggest and most iconic names in the house scene, Duke Dumont! A British producer has been laying down some of the fattest beats in clubs for multiple years now, will be Groove Cruiser’s headliner for the beach party at our destination of Cabo San Lucas. Some of his songs that will forever be club favorites are; I Got U, I Need U, Oceandrive, and a handful of others. The ultimate feels are packed into his production, a melodic, tropical, deep, blend of righteous house music. For sure one of the most anticipated acts for Groove Cruisers.
1. Felix Cartal
Groove Cruise is about feeling good and Felix Cartal is sure to bring out the best vibes possible! A mastermind of blissful house music production, Felix has put out some of the most tear-jerking and uplifting music in our generation. He has put out massive releases that have caught the attention of many! He has collaborated with big names such Kaskade, R3HAB, Clockwork, and other artists, and every song has come out different than what you’d expect. Sometimes the tempo of his house music production is slowed down ever so slightly which completely flips the script and makes it for a time unlike any other. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for us on the much anticipated 30th voyage of Groove Cruise!
