Electric Daisy Carnival is world renowned as one of the best festivals to be in existence. Hosted on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada during May 18th-20th, this festival has been on these grounds since 2012 and has been making music fantasy come to life ever since. Every year around 400,000 people attend EDC within the three days and nights of this amazing festival. Year after year they revamp the entire festival, doing their best to bring the newest and best artists, performers, art, superstructures, carnival rides, and most importantly the epic stage production that is EDC!

But this year, they’re doing something that’s never been done before Under the Electric Sky, which is going to revolutionize your EDC experience. So what could Insomniac bring to the table that will change the way EDC is done? Plain and simple, add available camping to this festival! That’s right, for the first time in EDC history, camping will be available to a limited lucky few that hop on buying camping tickets. Now you may be thinking to yourself, camping in Las Vegas during the summer, that’s going to be toasty! Well, Insomniac Events thought about this and came up with a clever solution. EDC will now be held earlier in the summer for campers convenience – this means cooler weather! Campers will even get earlier entry to the festival, which means they will be able to arrive May 17th instead of May 18th like everyone else attending EDC. The camping activities and amenities don’t stop there, not by a long shot. If you’re looking to party from sun up till sun down and beyond, camping at EDC is the place for you. Things you can expect at EDC camping are; Pool parties, Go-Kart racing, private entrance to the festival, and one of the coolest aspects, in and out access to the festival (meaning you can go back and forth from your tent/RV to the festival!). If you aren’t sold with those amenities, there’s also yoga, stand up comedy, guest speakers, bars, free charging stations, a general store, and even a barbershop to keep you looking fresh and clean the whole festival!

Insomniac, the production company behind this unbelievable festival, loves to do everything over-the-top, this includes the stages that are at EDC. Stage production is half the experience of stunning festivals and EDC is no exception. Travel to any one of the 9 main stages to get a sense of all the different music being brought to the festival! circuitGROUNDS: As much as we worship the night sky, we are rooted to the land on which we dance. We are connected, one to another, to the past and to the future, and to the energy all around us. Look to circuitGROUNDS to spark your passion for epic melodies.

neonGARDEN: Here, we grow together, under the glowing light of the crystal moon. Music is our nourishment. The beats are the soil and the soul, as the deepest forms of techno and house take root. Reach for the sky, and let your flowers bloom.

bassPOD: Something massive this way comes. A primal frequency rumbles beneath the foundation of EDC, a harbinger of unforeseen forces that approach. Prepare to be shaken by the purest forms of dubstep, trap, and drum & bass.

wasteLAND: A savage sound has ravaged this land, laying waste to everything in its path. Do you have the fortitude to survive another onslaught? The harder styles of dance music live here. Come test your mettle.

quantumVALLEY: A new world is about to unfurl — one where the sky has no limits. Welcome to our utopia, where ethereal beats and timeless trance melodies transport you to a higher state of consciousness. This is your destination.

upside-downHOUSE: Get up to get down with a unique blend of beats that will shake the foundation of this upended habitat. Just bring the good vibes, and be ready to tear the roof off!

artCARS: From glowing buggies to massive party ships, these mobile sound systems can be found roaming the Speedway, broadcasting all forms of dance music. Go exploring, and you might catch a special DJ set!

As if these stages and all the incredible music weren’t enough, insomniac even added rides to this festival. Yes, we are talking full blown carnival rides! Everything your awestruck heart could ever desire, ranging from Ferris Wheels to “the Yoyo” which is depicted below! If this isn’t thrill-seeking enough for you, don’t fret, there are plenty more rides that can satisfy your need for vertigo, spinning, and even speed. Electric Daisy Carnival has it all. Oh and the best part of all of this is that all the amenities are FREE!
