Grown out of Monument, Colorado, local complextro producer and DJ Calvin Hobbes has been building him self a bigger and better name every year. Starting out a couple years ago as playing house parties on the regular, Calvin Hobbes has grown exponentially with several booked shows in 2015; headlining his own show at Trap the Bluffs II, opening for popular artists, and his first music festival gig at Boredomfest in Indiana.  He has taken off in the year 2015, but it is this upcoming year that we need to watch out for Calvin Hobbes, because he is going to the top relentlessly. His first show in 2016 is opening for one of his top three most influential artists, HeRobust (Click underlined name for his SoundCloud.) The style of music that HeRobust produces definitely rubs off on Calvin, and you can see that in some of his tracks, such as his nasty original, “Str8 Up” w/ Holly that is coming out on his upcoming EP ‘SuSy or his flip for Boombox Cartel track “B2U.” Check his tracks out below!

Calvin Hobbes has big plans for 2016, not only is he going to be releasing the highly anticipated EP ‘SuSythat has the intro being premiered on EDM.com, but he has his first album coming out called ‘Sonder,’ with 18 amazing tracks, 17 of which are collaborations. Then later on this year around May or June, he is going to be kicking off his first headlining tour ‘Dancing is Important’ traveling across the nation to the east coast, tour dates will be announced later on in the year. This is what is officially planned by Calvin, but he hopes that this year he can really make his name known in the festival scene. If you have not heard his music, definitely check out the two links below or click this link “here for his SoundCloud.” This is going to be the year to see Calvin Hobbes explode in popularity, if you want to see an artist who has impeccable talent that is just starting to get seen by the world, I would do it now while his shows are still intimate, unique, and filthy. Check out this filthy video of his after movie at The Church in Denver.
