Twenty years in the making and Global Dance Festival is looking at bringing in the biggest and best names yet. Global Dance is renowned for booking mainstream artists that all EDM heads know through to the most lit up-&-coming acts that are the back bone of the underground scene. This year the span of diverse music includes artists like; Exicison b2b Illenium, Diplo, Krewella, Herobust, Keys N Krates, Zhu, Kaskade, SNAVS, OMNOM, Blanke, Dabin, and so many more! Truthfully, this whole lineup is on fire and quite possibly their best lineup yet! Check it out and be sure to buy Global Dance tickets if you haven’t yet! We are only a few days away until we rage at The Mile High!
8. Chase & Status
This is where the bass capital will shine. Drum and Bass legends, Chase & Status will be headlining the Northern Lights stage for a much anticipated set. They have been killing the scene for 15 + years and have even produced 4 different beats for Rhianna and have been asked by Jay Z and Kayne West to record songs. These guys have seriously been on another level for showcasing Jungle music across the world, from playing renowned festivals to still hitting the underground scene for a true impact on all. Do not miss their performance on Saturday Night!
And like that, out of now where, Peekaboo is an artist who is dominating the experimental bass scene across the nation. He is not only emerging on lineups all across the nation and releasing some of the most heavy hitting bass bangers on Zeds Dead’s label, Deadbeats, but already stealing the spotlight as 2019’s biggest up & coming artist! He has released ‘Wrecking Ball’ ‘Maniac,’ and ‘Whistleblower’ as solo releases and they have absolutely rocked the ground! Then factor in the collaborations with Bassnectar and G-Rex and other dank bass artists, and you get a bass artist who is straight taking over the scene. Do not miss him on the main stage, the Summit Stage on Friday!
The French duo behind Dirtyphonics are glad to be back in the Bass capital for another gnarly Global Dance production. At Supernatural last year they played an early set and got the crowd beyond hype. For Global Dance Festival, Dirtyphonics is showcasing their dank music, a blend of heavy dubstep and drum and bass, on one of the most iconic online electronic music publications in the world, Monstercat. Dirtyphonics has had a huge role in Monstercat’s spread of influence across the world, it only makes sense that these guys get to play a much anticipated set on this stage on Saturday!
Global Dance Festival is filled with legends this year. Our next most anticipated performance is the iconic American house legend who started up his own label and influenced millions with his hypnotizing and gangster influenced 4×4 beats. Destructo, a west coast house music superstar has the best realms of music influences being techno and rap music. Together he has put house music with some talented hip-hip and the results make the crowd go absolutely crazy. He plays to the crowd perfectly every time and with his performance being surrounded by so many epic house music artists on the Amazon stage, the house music stage, we can only expect the most rowdy performance from him here.
4. Space Jesus
One of our favorite artists to see live has a much anticipated performance this upcoming GDF on the Northern Lights stage. None other than the trippy, gucci, Space Jesus. He is quite the experimental bass artist and over the years he has been absolutely slaying the festival and concert scene throwing down a perfect mash up of his music along with musical homies of all types, that together make for quite an exotic yet intense performance. Don’t forget the key ingredient that he always asks for during his sets. It makes for a crazy vibe! Don’t miss it!!
3. Golf Clap
Coming from the depths of the underground scene in Detroit, Golf Clap will be presenting their weird, funky, and groovy music at the Amazon stage on Friday! Every time they come to perform at Colorado, the true house fans absolutely go bonkers. So, being at an all house music stage, with epic sound production and crazy stage production, we expect the performance of a lifetime!
2. Black Tiger Sex Machine
Another one of our must see artists, performing on the main stage (the Summit), the masked trio, Black Tiger Sex Machine will graze the diverse realm of heavy electronic music. They are known for throwing down heavy electro to dubstep, trap, drum and bass, and even bass house! BTSM are seriously one of the most blood pumping artists that you can catch live and with their new visuals perfectly matching their highfy music, on the massive Summit stage, it is the perfect recipe for absolute musical chaos. Do not miss out on this!
The Bass Apes will be gathering in the jungle for the much anticipated Brondo performance. After months of keeping his identity a secret, on May 11th, Brondo made his mile-high debut and revealed to the world who he truly was. Colorado local, from Castle Rock, Tom O’Connel, had rebranded himself from his disgusting dubstep act T.O.C (Totally Outta Control) to the mad ape, Brondo. He has released several songs on his own pages which have gained massive momentum, including his latest release ‘Rampage’, and his initial album release, ‘Bass Jungle.’ After the sold out show at the Summit, we can imagine the highfy energy and the amount of rage that he will release at this renowned festival! Do not miss his performance on Saturday!
