Decadence Colorado is nearly 30 days away and with that comes the growing anticipation of ending the 2018 year in the wonderful City of Decadence. For their 8th year they are stacking the lineup up high with talented artists from up & coming artists to legendary acts, Decadence is on route to bringing the house down as they are one of the biggest and NYE dance celebrations in the nation. This being my 7th year, I can proudly back that up. They are bringing all types of amazing producers & DJ’s, many of which true EDM fans should know about, but Decadence is also extremely well at booking acts that are on the rise. Many EDM advocates may overlook some of those upcoming artists, so I am putting together our first Artist Spotlight of the 2018 Decadence year to the Colorado debut of 1788-L. If you get down to heavy electro and dark techno beats, then this is the artist for you. He is taking a new route to the old school electro production ways, 1788-L is making electro bump in ways we have never heard of before. Taking insane bass drops and odd samples to a harmony that works oddly enough, 1788-L is the perfect blend of filthy and groovy sitting around 100-115bpm. He has had multiple MASSIVE releases this year, from his collaboration with Rezz on a song, “Hex” off of her recent album A Certain Kind Of Magic, another collaboration with Illenium & Said The Sky, to 1788-L’s EP release on Deadbeats. He has put out remixes too that have absolutely popped off such as; his remix of Virtual Self‘s, “Particle Arts”, The Glitch Mob‘s “Disintegrate Slowly,” Skrillex & Poobear‘s “Would You Ever” and more! Join us at Decadence EARLY on December 30th to travel to the wonders of mysterious soundscapes of 1788-L. You can grab tickets below and follow the links for news/updates!
Skrillex will also be performing December 30th at Decadence CO.
