Once You See The Lights: That’s All That You Crave {Phoenix Lights Festival 2018 Review}

Phoenix Lights Festival recently broke in the grounds of the brand new venue from Relentless Beats, ‘The Park’ at Wild Horse Casino in Chandler, Arizona. These new grounds are the first phase of a multi-year project to provide the best experience possible for festival & concert attendees. Phoenix Lights Festival was a multiple staged festival and with the main stage offering something new for the ravers in the valley; a plush field of green grass to relax or rage on, making the experience unlike any other in the Phoenix area. Beyond the plush grounds, there was room to bring in tons of installments to add in unique visual factors. Algorythm Designs did such a huge help with that! Check out the unique concepts below with some of the amazing performers striking a pose below.

Ran by Relentless Beats, Phoenix’s premier Electronic Music Provider, they brought one of the fattest lineups to date to ensure an experience that no one will forget. They brought in headliners such as Diplo, Martin Garrix, Seven Lions, Zomboy, and even two major hip-hop artists, Gucci Mane and Travis Scott. But where the lineup truly held its strength is the lineup on the supporting acts who took over the other stages. Big names such as Green Velvet, Umek, MK, GTA, and more are just a few to name who took over the R.B Deep stage, The Colony. A stage dedicated to all those, like myself, who love the house and techno vibes.

Although house was not just dedicated to that stage, on the other stage, Invasion, South Africa’s gnarliest and funkiest duo took over for a hell of a live performance.  Chris Lake and Wax Motif took over the main stage and thankfully it was there, because that harder bass house style of music truly gets  people kicking up dust.

If you are thinkin’ house is the only music that was at Phoenix Lights, you are far from wrong. Gramatik ended out the Invasion stage after Beats Antique, two very funky styles of music. Although with Gramatik breaking some serious leeway lately, he has been putting out some straight bangers! Check out this little clip of him “flippin’ the script.”

Even the heavy headbangers got some sets of music to break their necks at. Zomboy was absolutely relentless on the main stage and being a performance at night, it was absolute chaos. There was a set though that caused a literal dust storm from the mosh pits and gnarly raging. Midnight Tyrannosaurus brought the disgusting wubs to the valley, and when throwin’ elbows came on, dust spewed.

For those who were craving even more music. Relentless Beats offered an amazing experience as they hosted an After Party at the Rawhide Western Town, where most of the other events by Relentless Beats were held at. Here they had two stages, which is something I never saw them do at their after party, and both stages offered some of the dankest and most diverse house music in the scene. With Brownies & Lemonade taking over one stage with a b2b from Wax Motif and GTA, to the other stage with Justin Martin b2b Green Velvet. This afterparty was the cherry on top of the cake of this fantastic festival!

Blast back to the past with this after-movie put out by the Relentless Beats Crew!
