2 New Zealand Electronic Music Producers Come Together for an Insane 2 Song EP

New Zealand has had some world-wide renowned artists come from their region and impact the music scene drastically. Lately, they have had some artists truly on the rise, even though both of the artists have been producing music for years in the underground scene; Their styles of music are absolutely popping and together in this EP, they show the ultimate combination of dubstep, half-time, and drum & bass.

Truth, the duo leading the way for Deep Medi/Deep Dubstep. Owners and founders of record label, Deep Dark and Dangerous, Truth has been putting out some of the wonkiest beats out there with a dark underlining tone that pulls your ears in for more. Even though they have been hitting the underground scene for years, in 2017, Truth got named “Best Electronic Artist of 2017” by New Zealand Music Awards. A sure sign that these aren’t f*ing around with that dark bass. Collaborating with the Drum and Bass heavy weights, another rocking New Zealand duo, The Upbeats. These guys have been around for a long minute, with creating their project in 1998, The Upbeats have had multiple major releases and collaborations that rocked the scene. Sticking to a drum and bass genre, they are known for their faster styles, but with “Half-Time”, a bi product of Drum and Bass, rapidly growing in popularity, the duo have collaborated with Truth to put out a 2 song EP that expresses that genre of music perfectly.
