Imagine Festival has an outstanding lineup for their 2017 roster. Each stage has some of the biggest names in the scene, from Tiesto, Deadmau5, Above & Beyond, to Pretty Lights (live), STS9, the Floozies, to Claude VonStoke and more. Imagine Festival has a roster that is curated to several crowds in the music festival scene. There is one stage though at this festival that is unlike any other stage. It is completely composed of Drum and Bass artists, all of whom are some of the biggest / classic DnB names in the scene. On the Aeria Stage, the drum and bass gods will be taking over, NOISIA, Black Sun Empire, Planet of the Drums, and Netsky. Each artist has their own style to their production but all keep the bpm fast paced. Take a deeper look at the artists that have helped make the DnB scene flourish to what it is today.
NOISIA: 2003 is when this trio began to kick things off. With their music released on several labels in Europe and America, it took little time for NOISIA to get noticed by the artists who were leading the DnB scene at the time. Over the years of dank releases and building an impressive library of gnarly DnB music, NOISIA had gotten to the point where they could start up their own label. Going back to their roots of how NOISIA started, they named the record label, Vision Recordings. (VISION upside down is NOISIA.) On this record label, Noisia grew rapidly, getting new artists with more music released, and making a complete soundtrack for the entire game of Devil May Cry along with a movie trailer, Noisia exploded into the real world and has since then held the title for Gods of Drum and Bass. Experience it to believe it.
Black Sun Empire: Another trio of god-like production and styles of the drum and bass creation. Black Sun Empire has been in this game since 1997. Coming from the Netherlands, BSE has a unique style to their music. Over the years and countless releases, they have been in charge of 3 record labels; Black Sun Empire Recordings, Obsessions, and Blackout Music NL. With this much expansion in music, their music library is absurd enabling every show to be different than the last , but also illustrating inspirations in their production that is influenced by so many! Join the dark side and catch some raw Drum and Bass music!

Planet of the Drums: America’s leading Drum and Bass crew, made up from 4 major names in the scene; ak1200, Dieselboy, DJ Dara, MC Messinian. This crew has been at it for years but DnB has been taking a while to catch on to the preferences of most American’s. Over the past few years, Drum and Bass has been exploding and this crew is right behind the fire, each artist producing their own music, but when they get together, it’s no holding back on the filth of drum and bass. And with MC being Messinian, (the MC for Destroid) the hype in the music is energetic and not over bearing. This will be a performance that will leave you sweating from dancing so much.

Netsky: Coming from Belgium, this artist has a different take on Drum and Bass Music. Many call the genre he tends to produce / play Liquid, because of the harmonic feels and uplifting vibes. This is what I call happy music, and Netsky does just that. He has released several songs that have become dance floor classics because of the amazing positive vibes in the music! Netsky is the different style of drum and bass where you can chill out to but don’t be surprised when he brings it hard and rattles the floor with bass!
