Global Dub Festival - Artist Spotlight: Wilkinson

Global Dub Festival is hosting their 6th annual event on May 20th at the revered Red Rocks. A night full of bass from Flux Pavilion, Illenium, Crizzly, Wilkinson, Spag Heddy, ARMNHMR, and Templo. The variety in bass heavy music is vast as they have dubstep, future, trap, drum and bass, and other bass heavy electronic beats! Many know the headliners, (top 3 listed in lineup) but some don’t know about the UK sensation, Wilkinson.

Moving the streets of London to a faster tempo of 160+ beats per minute, Wilkinson offers some of the best drum and bass in the scene. Nearly 7 years ago, Wilkinson debuted his single, “Moonwalker / Samurai” on RAM Records (Founded by Andy C) and has since been playing shows around the world showcasing some of the most raw and fresh Drum and Bass. His style of production is more of a heavenly and melodic drum and bass that is called, Liquid DnB. Such as his massive hit of a sensational song, Afterglow, which has over 55 million views on Youtube! Although he tends to stick to drum and bass, his recent release “Wash Away” has blown up! The song has more of a futuristic bass feel to it with a slower tempo that absolutely goes off! With his expertise of performing live and being the only drum and bass artist at Global Dub, you can expect that this set is going to transform the rocks into a majestic party!
