If You Can Only Go To One Camping Festival in 2017… It NEEDS To Be Global Eclipse Gathering in Oregon

A once in a lifetime transformational music and camping festival will be held on a private ranch in the Ochoco National Forest in Oregon, during a total solar eclipse. This, Global Eclipse Gathering, is going to be like no other festival and to celebrate properly for the solar eclipse, they are having this gathering be 7 days long with 11 different festivals coming together from around the world. Take a glimpse at the picture above for the festivals that are collaborating on this Global Eclipse Gathering!

There are many reasons to why this festival needs to be your number one festival to attend in 2017

Lets just take a look out side of the box. We have 11, revered, well produced, honorable, transformational music festivals coming from all different parts of the world! Each festival has its own unique vibe and culture that it offers to their attendees and for the first time, all these festivals are coming together to create something that we have never seen before. Apparently, this festival has been in the works for over 4 years and with the support from so many talented and renowned event organizers, this festival is going to extraordinarily rich in culture and will provide only the most raw and enlightening experiences. Each festival is not only extremely creative with their music, arts, and workshops, but they are all conscious and self aware of mother earth and respect the grounds that their festivals are held at. Using workshops is a massive outlet which allows the festival to promote an eco-friendly event by teaching ways of recycling and minimizing the trash output.

Honestly, where ever you look when attending these festivals, being eco-friendly is everywhere.  From recycled art installations (pictured to the right), to reusable containers, to trash cans and recycling cans that are placed everywhere across the grounds, and throughout the staff and volunteers; being eco friendly is prominent and is always present. Their goal is to spread it throughout the audience so that we can promote being eco-friendly outside of the festival and back at home. They understand that we ALL share the same planet, therefore we should all work to help it, and they use festivals that draw crowds to help promote that message.

While these festivals are renowned for being expressive through arts and workshops and promote being green and eco friendly, their musical line ups are also prominent. Each festival has its own vibe to it because of the musical acts that they book, but because this festival has so many different vibes in it, the musical genre scale is vast. With so many different cultures and ethnic backgrounds that inspire different creativity though art, seeing a melting pot of all these different festivals with the music that they have to offer is going to be unlike any other festival we have ever seen. Here is a short list of headlining acts that the 11 festivals have booked:

Ajja, Avalon, A Tribe Called Red, Bayawaka, Beats Antique, Bleep Bloop, Break Science, Caspa, CloZee, Cosmic Boys, Defunk, Desert Dwellers, Dirtwire, DJ Loud, Eoto, G Jones, Goth Trad, Govinda, Gramatik, Henning Baer, Hallucinogen, Ivy Lab, Janover & reSunator, Justin Martin, Kalya Scintilla, Michal Menert, Opiuo, Ott, Neelix, Quixotic, Rising Appalachia, RL Grime, Shpongle, Space Jesus, The Funkhunters, The Prototypes,  The Widdler, The Polish Ambassador, X-Dream.

With so much diversity in the music throughout the festival organizers, it will be a guarantee that this festival will have crowd favorites, talented locals, underground acts, and everywhere in between. Although, the music will not be the only thing heavily influenced by the mass amounts of culture that this festival will be bringing together. We will see the influences throughout the grounds by the painters, art installations, food, performers, and of course the people.

Another reason this festival is a must-go is because no other festival that is happening during the Solar Eclipse has attendees who bought tickets from 65 different countries in the world. This alone will have a major impact on the festival. And with this location being on a private ranch with 55,000 acres to play and the closest neighbor being 16 miles away, it is sure to be a giant production, and the most diverse music festival that has ever been held in this country.

Symbiosis Gathering has taken this year off to put forth full effort and tender loving care into putting this festival together. They are one of the most revered transformational music festivals in the nation (if not the world.) Symbiosis achieves this by ground breaking art installations and stage productions along with tons of workshops and a constant promotion in bettering yourself and the community.
But even Symbiosis has claimed that Global Eclipse Gathering will “blow Symbiosis out of the water. Not downplay the magic that we create, but Oregon Eclipse will be far and away the best event we’ve ever produced.” (Check image for full comment.) If Symbiosis has claimed that, and they are one of the leading transformational festivals in the nation, you can NOT deny that this gathering is going to be massive and unlike any other event that we have ever seen.

Last major reason to make sure that you attend this festival this year is that…. the Total Solar Eclipse has not happened in the contiguous United States since 1976, meaning that the path of totality (which is where the Total Solar Eclipse is visible and in complete affect) spans across the land of the United States, from the west coast to the east coast. (The location of the Path of Totality is visible in the image below, it is the light blue dotted line spanning past from coast to coast.) This is a once in a life time event and with it being at such a beautiful location for such a special occasion, this is the festival to be at in 2017.
