Gem and Jam Festival in Tuscon, Arizona is hosting their 11th annual event in just two weeks! They are bringing the festival to a new location, being the Pima County Fair Grounds and with the move comes much change. One new feature they have introduced is having two main stages that will have no over lapping music. On top of that they have one of the most diverse jam and electronic music festivals to date and with the lineup being so stacked, this year is on its way to being one of the best. An artist who will be defying the perfect blend between funky bass music and live instrumental music, which is what Gem and Jam prides themselves on, is none other than The Floozies. This ecstatic funky duo play the bass and drums live while blending together the freshest and distinct electronic music. They have pushed the boundaries of music production by playing crazy notes with instruments and creating electronic music that is extremely bass heavy, unique, and yet complimentary to the funk. Being on ‘All Good Records’, a record label that consistently raises the bar for live electronic music, The Floozies keep their performances fresh by always playing tons of original music and collaborations from other funk artists and of course jamming out on their instruments. With this being their first performance at Gem and Jam and having been on a steady rise in popularity for the past couple of years, the Floozies, are a set you CAN NOT miss!
