Gem and Jam Artist Spotlight: G Jones

Gem and Jam will be hosting their 11th annual event on new grounds for their first location change in their history. So what does that mean? It means that they are going to have a lineup that is more diverse and outstanding than all the previous years. Having acts ranging from Jam Bands, to psychedelic electronic music, to funk and everywhere in between, Gem and Jam has tons of variety in the music that they booked. Which is why the first artist spotlight goes to bass music enthusiast, producer, and DJ, G Jones.

Coming from California and having been on a constant rise in popularity in the bass music scene for the past couple of years, G Jones has been blowing bass lovers away with unique beats and performances that compare to no other artists in the scene. He has a distinct sound that can be recognized instantly which has also landed him with some of the biggest collabs in his career. Getting to collaborate with Bassnectar on two released tracks and one track that is unreleased is absolutely massive for G Jones, being that Bassnectar is a pioneer for Bass Music. Those two tracks that G Jones has collaborated with Bassnectar on, are hands down some of the most game changing material for G Jones. Having several singles and EP’s released as well, G Jones is constantly putting out new music that captivates everyone in the bass music community.

Being a unique producer and DJ, G Jones will fit the vibe of Gem and Jam perfectly while still showing the festival and the attendees that he is like nothing like what the grounds have seen before. Having filthy and grimey trap/dubstep beats, G Jones puts on one hell of a party for everyone! With his first Gem and Jam performance assigned to be before Gramatik, on the same stage and directly after Opiuo (on a different stage,) G Jones will be in the perfect spotlight to throw down beats that leave the crowd in awe. Whether you have seen him before or not, this is a must see act at Gem and Jam, for what he has in store for this event will be unlike any other performance that we have seen him do. Prepare for take off Space Cadets, G Jones will be taking our minds to the outer limits of the universe on a bass music journey.

Check out below, his collab with Bassnectar and a mix of his originals from his SoundCloud for a small taste for what is in store for Gem and Jam.
